The Lord's Prayer in many languages, and many media formats, a world peace resource.

Why it is important: Traveling beyond the languages and voices, we find each person lifting up the same prayer. The Voices Home project invites us all to share in languages with which we may be completely unfamiliar, in a way that is safe and, we hope, welcoming, because of the familiarity of the message. Slowly, as skin-deep cultural differences fade, the old and familiar message of the Lord's Prayer is experienced with fresh eyes, and we see deeply the shared hopes and dreams that are common throughout humanity.

On this site you will find: prayers, translations, and transliterations, meaning discussions, a 21st century rendition in song, and a "how to" for putting on a Voices Home event. Explore, and enjoy a familiar prayer in fresh and unfamiliar voices and languages.
